Certifications: PPR, Referee Level 2

Years Teaching: 1 year

Years Playing: 4 years

Teaching Style: Carole believes the coach must adapt to the player's needs. Once the fundamentals are in place, experimenting on the court to find what techniques work best for each player is key while at the same time developing strategy. Most of all, learning pickleball must be fun and convivial.

Experience: For Carole, pickleball is about bringing joy. She’s a stage III breast cancer survivor. Throughout her treatments, pickleball played an instrumental role in giving her strength. Pickleball is more than a sport. It’s a strong social bond with a tight-knit community. Carole started playing four years ago and moved to tournament play within a year. She loves a good comeback. A match isn’t lost until the last point is played. She’s a referee in several tournaments every year.

Specialties: Working with players to develop their game both technically and strategically through drilling and practice games so that they can reach their goals. As a referee, Carole knows the rules in and out. She provides refed match play experience for those players who desire to participate in tournaments.

Other Interests: She’s French, so she comes with an accent. She loves to travel (25+ countries) and to spend time with her sons. She’s an avid reader and dabbles in writing.
