For nearly a decade, ZipCity South was an iconic name in Indianapolis. It wasn’t just a sports entertainment facility—it was a gathering spot where families celebrated milestones, players perfected their games, and the community came together. But like so many cherished establishments, the pandemic left its mark, forcing ZipCity to close its doors in April 2024.
Their final message to the community reflected gratitude and resilience: a thank-you to their loyal clientele and a hope that the space could one day thrive under new ownership. It was bittersweet, marking the end of an era.
Now, in an unexpected twist, that day has come.
A Second Chapter, However Brief
Thanks to the generosity of the new facility owners, Indianapolis Pickleball Club (IPC) is bringing life back to these courts—if only for a short while. We’re proud to announce the launch of a Pop-Up location at the old ZipCity South courts, running through May 2025.
After that, the courts will be demolished to make way for a new religious temple 🙏. But until then, the courts that once echoed with the laughter of families and the cheers of athletes will once again be alive with energy, competition, and community.
